As the level begins, you run into a flock of Pidgeys. Immediately after you pass them, a Doduo will run across the road. You can try to shoot the Doduo here, but you can also hit R to accelerate and get ready to snap a close-up as soon as you pass the rock on the right side. You can get a cool picture of Pikachu surfing. When you see Pikachu on the right , throw an apple over him and on the surfboard on the right. Try to quickly create a trail leading to the surfboard. (Sign 1) The Kingler rock formation is on the left directly across from the surfboard. In the field of flowers to the right you will see several Butterfree, try to get a picture of more than one. There's a Snorlax in the field to the right play the pokéflute to make him get up and dance. Toss a pester ball at the Meowth at the top of the hill. If you hit him at just the right angle he will fall down on the other side, so get ready for a close-up. When you see rustling grass to the left throw some pester balls to make a Scyther an two Pikachu's come out. Try to get a picture of Scyther in a fighting position. Play the pokéflute to see the Pikachu's on the stump do an electrical attack (You can only do this when Scyther is up). On the left you'll see Eevee chasing a pink ball hit the ball with some pester balls to make it become Chansey. On the opposite side of Eevee there is some water and a Kangashkan. Play the pokéflute to see Lapras. Hit Kangaskhan with a pester ball to make him turn around. At the end to your left there is some water, throw an apple or two and a Magikarp should come out.

Level 2: The Tunnel

Pokémon you can find here: Pikachu, Electrode, Electabuzz, Kakuna, Zubat, Zapdos, Haunter, Diglett, Dugtrio, Magnamite and Magneton.

Immediately at the start of the level, take a few pictures of the Pikachu to your left. It runs and hops onto an electrode. This is the picture oak wants! When you enter the cave you'll see Kakunas, electrodes, and Electabuzzes. When you reach the iron wall be ready to snap a Zubat as soon as the doors open. Once you're through the doors you'll see a Pikachu near an egg. throw some apples to lure it to the egg, then use the pokéflute. Pikachu will shock the egg and a Zapdos will emerge. You must do this to reveal the sign later on. If you look closely at the cave wall at a certain spot you may see a picture of an egg, then a musical note, and then a thunderbolt this gives people without walkthroughs a hint on how to hatch Zapdos. Before you leave Zapdos's room look at the water near the machine , soon a Magikarp will flip out for a great shot. Keep an eye out for flying purple balls. These are actually haunters, but you can see them until after your film has developed. (Sign 2) If you released Zapdos earlier, you'll see Pinsir's shadow after you pass the two dancing Electabuzz. Around here you should be finding some Digletts, if you take picture of Pikachu and the Diglett Pikachu will run over to another Diglett, keep taking pictures of Pikachu and a Dugtrio will pop up. Then take another picture to see 2 and then 3 Dugtrios. Professor oak likes pictures of Dugtrio when he is digging. When you see the three Magnamites near the level exit, try to toss apples between them to make it evolve into Magneton. By the way, in order to advance to the next level (First time only) you must toss a pester ball at the electrode to make it blow up the boulders.

Next, a couple of Vulpix will approach the land cruiser toss an apple to set up a great shot. Next, look at the ledge on the left with the Charmander and the Magmar. throw an apple between them to make Magma roast Charmander and make it evolve into Charmeleon. When you reach the rock bridge you encounter an egg. Before you hit it out of the way turn to your left and throw some apples to lure some Charmander over the hill. make a trail towards you to get a good close-up, then play the pokéflute and you will get a great picture of multiple Charmander dancing. Now throw an apple at the egg, it will fall into the lava and hatch into Moltres. When you see two Magmar on the ledge on the right throw an apple between them to get a great picture of "Fighting Magmar". After you pass the Magmar, look for three lava pits on the right. Throw a pester ball into the left or right one, and a Growlithe comes out. Throw it in the middle one and an Arcanine will come out. To your left there is a lava pool with a Charmeleon circling it. Level 4: River

Pokémon you can find here: Bulbasaur, Cloyster, Magikarp, Metapod, Poliwag, Porygon, Psyduck, Shellder, Slowbro, Slowpoke, Vileplume.

At the start of the level, you'll see some Poliwag hiding behind some bushes on the ridge. Hit them with pester balls, and the hop over the bushes and run into the river use the accelerator to get in front of them as they run to improve your photo. Right after the Poliwag hop into the river, they'll leap out over by the left bank. To your left are some Bulbasaur. Hit the ones in the craters with pester balls and throw an apple in front of the opening in the log. Now keep an eye open for a large flower in a clearing to the right. Play the pokéflute and it becomes a vileplume. (Sign 4) Above this vileplume, you'll see a statue of a cubone. Directly across from the vileplume is a slowpoke. Toss apples and make a trail to the right. It will dip its tail in the water and evolve into slowbro. On the right next to the slowbro clearing, is a wooden sign with a picture of shellder on it. Shellders will jump out of the water here of course. You can also see some magikarp by throwing anything into the water. Now look at the forest canopy above. Toss pester balls at the metapods to make them drop down for a cool photo. Look for the psyduck on the right. Hit him with pester balls to make him sink. Play the pokéflute to make him dance. Use the dash engine to get a good close-up. Now look to your right for a small leaf like object in the bushes. Hit it with a pesterball and out comes a porygon covered in leaves. You have to hit it again to make it shed its camouflage for your picture. On your left is a pikachu atop a log fortress. Hit him or take a picture to see him do his agility attack, Which will give you more points. Look at the rocks on the right. when you see a clearing with a large button platform on it, hit the weird rock above it. This makes a porygon jump onto the button so you can complete the level. To get extra points on the other 2 porygon pictures, remember that oak likes it when you can see their camouflage shatter off.  Or you can not push the button and wait a little longer to see a cloyster pop up in front of you.

Look up to find a koffing chasing a jigglypuff. Hit the koffing with a pester ball to make it stop chasing jigglypuff so you can get a special photo op at the end of the level. You can get up to 3 jigglypuffs at the end. Below the koffing and jigglypuff is a weepinbell circling around a pit. Time a pesterball to knock to weepinbell into the pit where it becomes victreebel. (Sign 5) To find the mewtwo energy form, hit left C to turn 180 degrees left. You'll see a weird rock formation floating in the air. .Snap a photo at just the right time to get a good picture of the mewtwo sign. Now look for the zubat carrying the pikachu. If you hit the zubat with pesterballs (Which is hard to do), it will drop the pikachu and release a balloon parachute. Oak loves this picture, but it's hard to score a closeup. Soon you'll come across to jynxes and an egg. Play the pokéflute and the jynxes open the egg to reveal an articuno. Continue on and you'll see a jigglypuff singing.
